It was about time to do another update. I haven't had much time to draw lately, so I've only been working on comics for PlayStationPure. I really need to update this website and change some lay-out stuff, but I'll do that another time because there's school work to do... Anyway, meanwhile, two new comics have been published on Pure. Enjoy!

Yay, third comic has been uploaded! :D I liked drawing this one. Impossible to translate the joke, though! Sorry!

Blegh, updating takes quite a while! Creating the pop-up pages, adding the thumbnails to the right page and posting an update. I need an automatic system, but I'm too stupid to make that myself (YES, Ward, YES, I know what you're thinking now). :P Anyway, here are two new updates. One's still from August 2010, the other one has been made this week. Until next time!

Happy New Year, may all your dreams and blah-blah come true. Anyway! My second "Reset!"-comic has been published and has been based on Final Fantasy this time. :D Well, don't have anything else to say. Thank you for visiting!

Whoop, two new updates! A line-art from the French comic series "De Cape Et De Crocs" and my first "Reset!"-comic. What? What the HELL is "Reset!"? Well, I've got great news! I got my very first "job" ever. :D I have my own blog on the PlayStationPure-website, which is Official PlayStation Magazine's website! This means I'm finally receiving some decent feedback. I'll upload the Reset!-comics after they've been published on PlayStationPure to avoid spoilers. Right now, one has been published, and two will be published soon. Have a great Christmas!

Inspired by one of the most amazing comic series of all time, "Blacksad", I tried to invent my own character. The creators of Blacksad use animals acting like humans in a fifties-scenery. I enjoyed reading one of the comics and I ordered the whole series! Anyway, while you're reading this, I'm thinking of deleting the image on the front page. It bugs me... A lot! D: It's still in my art gallery, though. Hasta la próxima. :)

I don't really feel like updating because I'm tired. XD Even though it's only 9pm, but hey, I have early classes and I want to go to bed now. Ahem, anyway. What I wanted to say is: yet another update! :D It took me a few evenings in my student home to draw this (read: sketch while surfing on the internet, that's why it took ages to finish). It's my own interpretation of Toothless from HHTYD. Click to enlarge and good night!

While students of many schools, like my boyfriend's (Hurr I'll kill you!), can stay home for a week, we only had a silly Monday and Tuesday without university. I guess it's better than nothing (STAY POSITIVE!), so I rushed to the cinema to see "Despicable Me", a great animation movie that inspired me to "rush" a drawing as well. The result is a greyscaled 2D-version of the main characters. It felt great to draw again. :3

Thanks to university, I managed to abandon this website. But fear not! I still have an old update. In September, I made two drawings for the children's website "Neopets". Both got published and I won virtual prizes with them. xD I decided to upload them on Leenspiration. Enjoy, and sorry for the lack of updates!

Small update. I tried to create a photorealistic drawing using Photoshop. This is Evey Hammond from V For Vendetta. Some areas could be better, but this was worth the effort!

Third drawing of my "Draw At Least One Character From Every Animated Disney Movie"-project. I seriously need a better name for this. XD DALOCFEADM? Anyway, I wonder how long this project will survive. -.- I really enjoy doing this, though, and it's a good practice. This drawing features Oliver and Dodger from Disney's "Oliver And Company".

I'm way too productive lately! I was about to finish a drawing of Jessie & Bullseye from Toy Story, when suddenly I didn't feel like shading and started drawing a "portrait" in 30 minutes. No, this is not photorealism, that's way too hard for me. XD But I hope you like it anyway! Later today, I also finished the Toy Story-drawing.

I draw so many things lately. o_o Anyway, I made a new Disney-related drawing: Mulan. I'd like to draw one character of EACH animated Disney movie. It's a crazy goal, but I really feel like doing this. ^^ Enjoy!

As you can see, I re-did my whole site! I worked on it for many, many hours and I'm very happy with the result. I decided to make a cartoony, bright lay-out, because my previous (black) lay-out was too dark and didn't actually match my personality. XD There are so many updates, it's hard to mention them all! First of all, the lay-out (with a floating navigation menu! :D) and the Splash page have been changed. The About Leen page has been updated. The Comics can now be seen in a pop-up window, where you can also find more information about them. I also added my new comic series "Helen's Residence"! The Art & Games page has been re-designed and I added MANY new drawings. I included a "thumbnail & pop-up" system to provide easy navigation. Want more? Sure, there are brand-new pages: Photography and F.A.Q.! The Links page has been changed a little and there's also a new Contact page. I love feedback, so please, give me your opinion (you can use the Guestbook). Thanks a lot for visiting. :3

And MANY more...

I know I'm neglecting my website, but I have been drawing some stuff lately and I thought it would be a good idea to upload them here as well. First of all, a sketchy drawing from Pixar's "Up" featuring Dug and Kevin. Secondly, Sora as little lion in the Pride Lands, part two. And last but not least, a more realistic drawing of Hit Girl from the movie "Kick Ass". University exams are coming up and I'm already tired of them. Thanks for visiting!

It has been a while since I updated this website. I haven't drawn a lot lately and only submitted it to my DeviantArt account. So, I have 3 new things to post. First of all, in November 2009, I made a new "Wicked" drawing. Secondly, in January 2010 I collected all my unfinished art from 2009. And last but not least, a big project I've been working on for hours: Disney's The Princess and The Frog. Hope you like it!

Finally! Updates! I have a new tablet pen, which is the same one as my other one, cough. For my laptop though. Of course, it works fine! I drew two animals to test it. Enjoy!

Happy birthday to me! And since there's nothing much to do right now, I decided to finish some fanart for the musical "Phantom of the Opera". It features the Phantom himself and Christine. Had a lot of trouble making a background. I hate backgrounds. *Grumpy*. Thanks for visiting!

I've been dead for a while, but I'm back with some amazing news. Let's Go Nuts has finally reached their 20th comic! This time featuring Gert-Jan and his mother, our English teacher Mrs. Lerno. Hope everyone keeps supporting this website! Have a great sunny day. (Sunny, indeed, and I'm the one staying inside as usual...)

After seeing Bambi II, I got inspired to draw Ronno, the arrogant deer, and Feline, the young and innocent deer. I created a situation that the movie doesn't show: Ronno meeting Feline and trying to impress her. Yeah, he'd probably scare the crap out of her, make her fall on the ground and say his famous line: "The name's Ronno". Such a cute bad guy, hmm?

In London, I've seen my first Broadway musical ever: Wicked, a story about the two witches of Oz. The plot and the songs inspired me to draw this: "Popular!". In this song, Glinda tries to make the green girl Elphaba look stylish. The messy background was an accident I didn't fix. I had no inspiration for it anyway! Thinking of drawing "Defying Gravity" later on... Or Bambi. Yeah. Bambi's cool, kthnx.

In London, Anneleen and Elien requested a drawing. Note: I only accepted this request, because I really felt like drawing this character. Mushu, the red dragon from Mulan. Took me about 3 or 4 hours, and it was quite a challenge. Unfortunately, the two "legs" don't look that great, but I had no clue how I'd fix that. So... It has stayed that way. Thanks for visiting.

Thank you SO much, everyone, for supporting me on my 3-hour cartoon marathon yesterday! I've got to say, it was an amazing experience and I managed to cartoonify 40 pupils and teachers. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to draw everyone on my waiting list. But as some kind of compensation, I'm willing to Photoshop-draw anyone. Just send me a mail or message on Smartschool. Secondly, I'd like to thank my best internet friend Alex from Dubai, who made this AMAZING advertisement for me. You've got skills, my friend! Please click here to admire it. Have a nice day!

First of all: I have finished my very first portrait painting on a blank canvas... EVER! Last Friday, while attending art school, the dangerous "art insect" bit me and stimulated me to work on something completely new. So I Googled Utada Hikaru, the amazing Japanese singer/songwriter. It was a great and fun experience: experimenting with acryl paint while listening to my fave music! Unfortunately, I've got to admit that the real painting looks way better and brighter than the picture I uploaded here. Oh well! Tomorrow I'll be turning pupils and teachers into Let's Go Nuts characters for just 1 EURO! The money will go to "street children in Brazil". Thank y'all for donating!

Whut? A real game? And it really works? Yes! I've been working on this project for a month (just 15 hours in total). I wanted to try to make something nice with Macromedia Flash and I came up with a kitty dress-up kids game. Originally, this was just an experiment, but I decided to continue working on it. Now it's finally playable! If the game doesn't work, read the instructions below it. You might discover some special items, such as the "Bram scarf" or "Sora outfit". Enjoy!

I'm not dead and I didn't ditch the site either. I've had a very busy week in which all my art projects were dedicated to other people. This resulted into two posters. I'm glad to say that my website is starting to reach the "outside world". First of all, there's a poster for my school, announcing a sandwich-selling project. Featuring our lovely Mr Mulders, of course. Secondly, there's one of my biggest projects ever: the "Buitenspeeldag" poster, which will be spread through my hometown on huge paper size. Many of you are waiting for my 20th comic. Don't worry, Mr Van Vlierden has braces too now and it's kind of... Inspiring me. ;) Hasta luego.

I had such a busy week, which resulted in many, many bad drawings and sketches. Finally, I got inspired by "Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII", especially by a quote from the character Aerith. I had a hard time trying to make her look as realistic as possible and I'm very proud of her haircut. Enjoy!

Thank you very much for all your positive comments. I'm very glad you all like the new website! In order to celebrate this unforgettable moment, I drew a new comic. Comic nineteen, Grape Sugar, is based on Gert-Jan's sudden needs of sugar! Enjoy, keep advertising and don't forget: there's a guestbook on this website. Follow the "contact" link and you'll land there, eventually. Have a nice weekend!

A brand-new name, a brand-new lay-out, the same old content and the same creator. Welcome to Leenspiration, Let's Go Nuts' big sister. From now on, Letsgonuts.co.nr will not be updated anymore! But, don't worry: all comics and drawings can be found on this website! Many of you have been wondering why I'm doing this. Reason number one: the LGN website was dedicated to my life at HHC Lanaken. Right now, I'm in the middle of Grade 12, which means I'll leave there soon enough. Reason number two: I was in need of a fresh lay-out. This one has an easy navigation and looks much better as well. I've been putting a lot of effort in re-arranging all art, comics, characters etcetera. Feel free to comment on this "Leenspiration" by following the "contact" link below! A huge thank you to all my friends for supporting me!
